Mustard, Purple, and Gray

I wasn't sure how these three colors would go together, but I think they work! I got several compliments on the ensemble, so if they don't work then other people obviously can't tell, so I can wear them! LOL! It was really simple and comfortable, and I got to wear some new shoes that I got for $5 at Target the other day! I love my gray peep-toes, but they always get snow in them, so these gray shoes were my new, cheap solution!!

I wanted to wear jeans and a t-shirt, but had a few MK deliveries to make, so wanted to wear a skirt. This is what I settled on, plus some short black boots. It was comfy and fun!

Preppy?

I am not entirely sure what this look is, but it kind of reminds me of those preppy kids who take horseback riding lessons. Not sure why, but I think it's the vest. And the skinny jeans. And maybe the boots. Who knows. Anywho, this is what I wore the other day.

Skinny Jeans

Once upon a time I swore off skinny jeans. At Ross the other day I found a pair for $5. I bought them. I wanted to be able to wear these boots with jeans tucked into them, but the only way I could was with skinny jeans. Lo and behold, I think I like them.

They're not nearly as scary as I thought they would be. I will admit that they sit lower than I am comfortable with, so they require a longer shirt, but I can work with that.

Purple and Brown

Again with the "original" titles. This outfit was different for me, and I actually liked it, except that it was super static clingy! I even wore a slip and it didn't seem to help my skirt from sticking to my legs and behind. Not the best look. But other than that I liked it!

I thought I'd give the low slung belt look a try, but after looking at the pictures, I can't say it is a good look. It just makes my hips look wide. Too bad I didn't look at these pictures sooner than today, because this is a look I wore a couple days ago. Ooops. Oh well. You live and learn!
